  1. Thanks for your interest in GEOCLOCK.  The files on this disk may be
  2. distributed freely provided that they are not altered in any way and that
  3. no charge, other than a nominal media and handling fee, is made. They have
  4. been ZIPped with version 1.1 of PKZIP.

  6. GEOCLK42.ZIP contains the EGA/VGA/800x600 version of the program.
  7. GEOMNO42.ZIP contains the additional files required for the CGA/Hercules/
  8. MCGA/AT&T 400/PC 3270 version.  If you are not familiar with ZIP format
  9. files, just change the default drive and directory to the one you want to
  10. install GEOCLOCK in, place this disk in the A: drive, and enter
  11. A:PKUNZIP A:GEOCLK42 (and A:PKUNZIP A:GEOMNO42 if required).  Check section
  12. B of the GEOCLOCK.DOC file for instructions in starting and customizing
  13. GEOCLOCK.  GEOMNO must be customized by running GEOCONVT before it will
  14. operate, and you should edit GECONFIG.DAT to set your time zone.

  16. GEOCLOCK is distributed as Shareware.  This means that you are permitted
  17. to use and copy the program, but that after an evaluation period you are
  18. expected to pay for the program.  By sending $30 ($35 for 3.5" disks) to
  19. the address below, you will receive the latest version of the program,
  20. a registration program that will enable a few special features including
  21. ZOOM and distance measurement, and at least 25 maps.  For an additional
  22. $20, all the additional files available on my BBS, including at least
  23. 20 more maps, will be included.  A HAM package add-in, including a custom
  24. Equidistant-Azimuthal projection map centered on your HAM station, and
  25. an integrated call sign data base, is available for another $30.
